Do I wear a Cummerbund if wearing Suspenders?

This is a very common question that we get, and the answer is definitely “yes”. Most men don’t know that a tuxedo is made without belt loops, so therefore a set of formal braces are often required (unless you go the rental route with an adjustable waist). The fact that you are wearing formal braces does not mean you should veer away from proper formal protocol. With any tuxedo or dinner jacket, you should always wear either a cummerbund or formal waistcoat.
