Sunday, January 26 marked the 2014 Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J and broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. We don't doubt that you had some strong opinions on who took home awards this year—as well as who didn't!—but what did you think of the red-carpet fashion? We always enjoy checking out gorgeous gowns and eyebrow-raising getups. Here are some of this year's highlights:
Mom-to-be Ciara, who is working on her sixth album and her first bundle of joy (whew), was looking radiant in her elegant, form-fitting gold Pucci gown. Yes, "radiant" and "glowing" are clichéd adjectives for pregnant celebs, but just look at her! Can all maternity wear make us look and feel this fabulous, please?

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were big winners at this year's ceremony, including the prize for "Best New Artist." Lewis chose a houndstooth pattern, while Macklemore rocked a colored tuxedo. We look forward to seeing what's next from these two!

Robin Thicke may have stirred some serious controversy earlier this year with his single "Blurred Lines" (not to mention that whole twerking incident at the VMAs), but it would be pretty hard to argue with his classic black tuxedo. Speaking of lines, Thicke's wife, actress Paula Patton, chose a daring zebra-stripe-print gown.

Singer Pink gave an amazingly athletic performance during the ceremony, but we're just as impressed with her stunning red dress, not to mention her signature confidence. She didn't take home the awards she'd received nominations for—but with that much talent, beauty, and drive, she went home a winner for sure!

Hey there, Pharrell Williams, we're not sure what the deal was with the oversized Vivienne Westwood hat. But you always dare to be different, and it really works, especially in your music. We'll take it! (PS: We're not sure anyone else can pull this one off.)

Speaking of unusual headgear, Williams' helmet-clad collaborators Daft Punk (who took home Album of the Year) looked pretty weird and wacky, while Nile Rogers played it cool and artsy in a beret and sunglasses. You know what, if these four keep producing singles like "Get Lucky," they can wear whatever they want!
While we're on the subject of looks you may not want to try at home, we're not sure anyone else could get away with the Michael Costello lace gown Beyonce wore. This clingy, sexy backless number is definitely not for the faint of heart … but she looked "Flawless" as usual, pairing her hourglass silhouette with classic ruby lips. For her performance of "Drunk In Love" with husband Jay-Z, the singer chose an even racier black outfit.

Katy Perry is another songstress who can be counted upon for her unusual, envelope-pushing getups. For the red carpet, she chose a funky music-note gown by Valentino, changing into a "sexy witch" costume for her stage performance.

So who were your favorites—and whom would you like to make over? Some of these celebs get a little bolder (and odder!) with every red-carpet event!
